Debian / Ubuntu

• Download software from https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/repo/apt
• dpkg -i mysql-apt-config_0.8.12-1_all.deb
• During installation choose version of MySQL.
• apt-get update
• apt-get install mysql-server

Redhat / Fedora

• Download software from https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/repo/yum
• yum localinstall mysql80-community-release-el7-2.noarch.rpm
• sudo yum-config-manager –disable mysql80-community
• sudo yum-config-manager –enable mysql57-community
• yum install mysql-community-server
